Fixes the annoying issues
when you copy something
from a web page, paste it
in docs, Word or other
programs and it also
copies the style like font
or text color.
Why can’t web browsers simply copy plain text when you select something and press
CTRL+C? Why do they always have to copy formatting, like font and color, as well?
It becomes annoying because if you paste the text into Google Docs or Word, it might
retain different font sizes and colors, turning your document into a messy mix of
styles.
This app sits in the system tray, waiting for you to copy something from a web page.
When you do, it automatically removes all HTML formatting, leaving only plain text. It's
a set-it-and-forget-it solution if you put it in the windows startup folder.
I also added a few extra options while working on it. Most of the time, when I copy
something from the web, I only want the text, I don’t care about the styling or
formatting.
Sanitize Clipboard Now - whatever is in clipboard, only the text will remain. This is for
cases when some graphic/desktop publishing applications have their own format, then
insist on carrying the formatting even if you don’t want to.
