Here are some fun free tools that were created as a side project or during testing when we were working on MIDI Keyboard Macros. They are given in the same spirit they were created: absolutely free

Scrolling clock and message display

Use your APC launchpad as a scrolling clock or message display

I am sure you always wondered if you can use your fancy launchpad-type controller as an ordinary clock. Now you can - the APC clock will display a current time on the Akai APC and other launchpad type controllers. You can also display your very own message. It’s a great way to communicate your ideas to the world. Oh, and if you select any actual music device (even the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth is fine) and set Light ON to 127, you will have your own horrible rhythm generator. This fun project is a result of merging some of our MIDI Keyboard Macros code with an Arduino Clock code. Tested on Akai APC mini - which is BTW really good for Midi Keyboard Macros (And no, Akai didn’t pay us to say that)
